Terms & Conditions

Please note: This will need to be completed prior to participant/s starting our Wildlife Ranger club. 

Refunds and cancellation

  • No refunds will be made in the event of school closure, this could be due to:

  • COVID 19 (or any other global pandemic).

  • adverse weather conditions

  • any other reasons out of our control

  • No refunds will be made if participant cancels after first session has commenced.

  • * Refunds will only be made in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Wildlife Wonders UK.

  • Missed sessions by the participant will not be refunded or rescheduled.

Animal Handling  & Safe-working - Animal related injuries and health concerns.

  • All animals have been selected based on their risk factor as well as suitability when being handled. 

  • No participants will be left unattended when handling or around our animals.

  • every precaution and care will be taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the participant, although animals can be unpredictable Wildlife Wonders UK do not take responsibility for any injuries or health concerns which may occur during or after our sessions. 

  • An animal handling consent form will need to be completed for each participant before starting our wildlife rangers club.

  • All participants are encouraged to wash hands before and after all animal encounters, and will be informed about the risks of not washing hands.

Collection of participants and attendance

  • All participants must be collected promptly at the agreed time (end of session) If participant is collected late without prior notice a £5.00 late fee will be payable.

  • participants will only be dismissed to arranged parent/carers. If a participant is to be collected by someone other than the arranged person/s, Wildlife Wonders UK must be informed before the session.

  • If participant is not attending the session for any reason, please advise Wildlife Wonders UK beforehand.

Safeguarding

  • All Wildlife Wonders UK staff/volunteers will adhere to our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all participants.  Please see our safeguarding policy for more info.

Data protection / gdpr

  • All personal data given to Wildlife Wonders UK will not be used or shared with any third parties. 

  • Photos and videos will not be used of any participant that has not given photo & video consent.
